Recently, the state of Georgia passed the “guns everywhere” law (Safe Carry Protection Act of 2014) which effectively eased the restrictions and more clearly defined prohibited areas. Though there are still some prohibited areas within the state such as schools and government buildings, the law does allow for concealed carry in churches and restaurants under certain conditions. This course will help you to understand the difference in when and where you can legally conceal carry.

The NRA Concealed Carry Classes offered covers the laws of self-defense specifically relevant to the state. We use role playing techniques to provide real life scenarios of when deadly force is acceptable and self-defense is legal in the eyes of the law. We do this to help enhance your understanding. What constitutes a legal shooting? This class addresses that question that many of you wish to know in the case of protecting yourself, your home, and your loved ones. This course offers the understanding that is detrimental when discussing the difference in your freedom and/or your life savings. Both could be at risk while you are trying to prove your innocence in the unfortunate event of having to defend yourself/loved ones without proper education and understand on the laws of what constitutes self- defense. This topic is covered in length during the courses. We also provide details of what and what not to say to the police in the aftermath of an unfortunate self – defense event. Let’s face it, it is better for you to be educated because in the shock of the aftermath it would be easy to give a false appearance of the facts. That chance increases when combined with a un-education on the laws and situations.

We work with shooters in concealed weapons and firearms safety from all over the metro Atlanta area. A lot of our students are searching for Atlanta Concealed Carry training and classes. We also train shooters from Brookhaven, Virginia Highlands, Decatur, Midtown Atlanta, and east Atlanta.
